Koko: The PTCA one is actually be semi-compliant balloon. Which means when the filling pressure of the balloon continues to increase between the named pressure and the bursting pressure, the balloon diameter still has an increase range of about 0.25-0.75mm.
The non-compliant balloon remains the same no matter how much pressure is added after the balloon diameter is fully filled to a specified value. This can reduce the dog-bone effect. So it is a little bit more used, and the pressure is much higher.
