What is VTE?
VTE (Venous thromboembolism) refers to the abnormal coagulation of blood in the vein, so that the blood vessels are completely or not completely blocked, a venous reflux disorder. Including Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE).
Clinical Picture
1. DVT: The affected limb has varying degrees of pain, swelling and heaviness, skin temperature increases, and symptoms worsen after activity. The skin color of the affected limb can be normal or purpurish red, sometimes accompanied by fever, accelerated heart rate and other symptoms, and the corresponding plane circumference difference of the lower limbs is more than 0.5cm.
2.PE: Unexplained dyspnea, chest pain, syncope, hemoptysis, hypoxia symptoms, accelerated heart rate, etc.
