World Health Day falls on April 7th every year. It aims to arouse the world’s attention to hygiene and health work, improve people’s quality and understanding in the field of health, and emphasize the importance of health for labor creation and happy life. In 1948, the first World Health Assembly called for a “World Health Day” to commemorate the birth of the World Health Organization. World Health Day has been celebrated on 7 April every year since 1950. Each year, a theme is chosen for World Health Day that highlights who’s priority areas of concern.
